Walk the Narrow Path
Matthew 7:13, 14—and Hikers, Bryce Canyon National Park, UT.
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13, 14
Walking the Narrow Path
In the photo, my wife and kids hike a narrow path towards a small opening in a rock wall. My wife and I strive to point our children towards the narrow gate Jesus calls us to. That’s not an easy task. Unfortunately, as parents, we have learned that “the road that leads to destruction” found in our culture is very “broad.” Today’s kids face temptations in many ways.
Parents face a difficult challenge in walking their children down the narrow path. So many destructive lies in our culture, from drugs to transgenderism, attract and attack America’s children. Kids today (and their parents) need prayer and guidance to follow the path that “leads to life.”
Please remember to pray for parents and children. We need it. And prayer against these destructive forces of darkness that inhabit our culture.
Thx you for reminding us to keep the faith, stay steadfast and to stay in prayer for parents, their children, for each other as we are press in from all sides. God bless you and your family.
Hi Daniel. You’re welcome, and thank you for your prayers. Myself and other parents appreciate it!
