Let the Distant Shores Rejoice
Psalm 97:1-2 and Granite Top Coastline Acadia National Park, Maine.
“The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice. Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.” Psalm 97:1-2
Join the Distant Shores Rejoice
I confess. Too often I find myself to be a grumbler and complainer. I let little things put me in a bad mood. But the Bible calls all to rejoice. Even the “distant shores” are called to rejoice and celebrate our God.
Rejoicing like the distance shores is the way to go. Happiness doesn’t bring joy. Happiness is an emotion. Joy is a mindset. A mindset of joy brings happiness.
Let’s all join the distance shores and rejoice!
Read all of Psalm 97 and rejoice!
