White as Snow
Snow Covered Hiking Trail in the Woods, Fontenelle Forest, Bellevue, Nebraska and Isaiah 1:18
“Learn to do good; Seek justice, reprove the ruthless, Defend the orphan, plead for the widow. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.'” Isaiah 1:17-18
The context of this Scripture verse makes it all the more beautiful. In the previous Bible verses God list a number of terrible sins that condemn the sinner to destruction. But when a sinner decides to repent and obey he is made white as snow. Nothing on Earth represents God’s purity better than a blanket of white snow. When we repent and follow Christ, He covers our sins and makes us pure as snow white wool.
