Isaiah 60:1-2 and the Sunrise over the Forest and Water of Jay Cooke State Park, Minnesota.
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, ‘For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.’” Isaiah 60:1-2
Bring God’s light
The world needs hope. The world needs light. We see the need for hope and light in the world everyday and God calls His people to bring His light to the darkness. When we step out to do His work His glory will shine upon us and bring light to the world.

“Thus says the Lord, ‘Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest?’” Isaiah 66:1
This verse is a great word picture for how great our God is. We see the Earth as great in size, but to God it is nothing but a simple footstool. Amazing!
If the earth is small to God so are our problems.
Read all of Isaiah 66. The chapter is a prophecy about how many people foolishly think they are great, but it is God who is truly great.
