Find the Peace of God
Philippians 4:6-7 and Wading birds at Sunrise, Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Sanibel Island, Florida.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
Peace of God
When he penned these words, the Apostle Paul had a very good earthly reason to be anxious. He sat as a prisoner of Rome awaiting trial before Caesar. In today’s world we have much to be anxious about, but like Paul, we too can find peace in God. I pray you find His peace in our turbulent world.
When we look upon the creation of God let us find peace in knowing our loving Creator is in control. Let’s all pray and leave our troubles in His hands.
Read all Philippians 4.
Thank you for sharing the verse. This verse comforted me knowing He heard my prayers regarding a patient who is dying soon. I am not sure of her salvation, however, she asked if Jesus will help her and I assured her that He will as long she will call on the name of Jesus.. I was anxious a few hours ago because she is drifting so fast and I will not be able to talk to her about more about Jesus. I prayed a few ago and I just decided to open my e-mail and decided to open your message today. Indeed, the Holy Spirit comforted with this verses in Philippians 4. I thanked God for using you.
Hi Eunice. Thanks for your message. I’m glad you found this post encouraging. God knows what we need when we need it. I pray your patient found Christ. And I pray He healed them.
