Walk in the Light of God
1 John 1:7-9 and a Bull Elk at Sunrise, Moraine Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
“But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:7-9
Live and Walk in The Light of God
Just as this bull elk walks across a sunlit meadow away from a dark forest, may we walk away from darkness into the Light of God. The Bible calls us to walk in the Light just as God is in the Light.
When we walk in the Light we find a path away from sin and we find fellowship with God. Fellowship with God lives in the Light and not in the darkness of sin. In the Light of God we also find the joy and strength of fellowship with other believers.
Sin lives in the darkness, but 1 John 1:9 also reminds us that when we come to the Light and confess our sins, God “is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Amen! What a good God we serve!
Be encouraged in your walk with God by reading all of 1 John.
Thank you so much. We are to always follow the light. We are to stay on the narrow path also. God bless you.
Delius, amen, that we are to do as well.
Amen
