Jesus in the Wilderness

Find God in the Wilderness
As one who likes to meet with God in the outdoors, I love this verse. Here Jesus sets an example for us. Several times in the Gospels He heads to the outdoors to be with the Father. This verse says He did so “often”.
When we can, we should do the same. It doesn’t have to be to the mountains or desert. It could be a park or the quiet of your own backyard.
I do realize many of my readers might not be able get to the outdoors, so I am happy God allows me to bring a little of the outdoors to you.
Read all of Luke 5 and be inspired by the life and works of Jesus.
I need to be like Jesus and be alone with our Father. Thank you, Pasquale.
Amen bebe. Nature is a great place to meet with God.
I always feel closest to God when alone with Him somewhere in His creation. When watching a sunset, I like to envision Jesus sitting next to me watching with me.
That’s so awesome, John.
Very interesting photo. The sedimentary rock strata really stand out – vivid evidence of the Genesis Flood!
Yes, one can clearly see the rock strata. What’s interesting about these formations, is that the scientist say they’re eroding away very quickly relative to most other rocks. They say the formations are eroding at about a rate of an inch a year. So, if the rocks are eroding so quickly, how could the strata have been laid down over millions of years?
