God Our Fortress!
Psalm 144:1-2a and The Canyon Rocks of Palo Duro Canyon, Texas.
“Blessed be the LORD, my rock, Who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle; My lovingkindness and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliver, my shield and He in whom I take refuge.” Psalm 144:1-2a
Our Fortress and Defender
Take refuge in God. We can trust in Him as our rock of Stability and our fortress of strength. The Bible says God cannot be shaken and He forever stands at the side of the Christian believer through every battle and trial we encounter.
It is awesome to know that our infinitely strong and infinitely stable God always stands with us!
Read all of Psalm 144.

Hi Anita. You’re welcome and thanks for letting me know.
I love your photography! Nature is one place it is easy to see God’s hand, and you are capturing it well. Thank you!
Thanks Janene! I appreciate your kind words. And yes, it easy to see God’s hand in nature.
A much-needed reminder for me today. God is my stability, my anchor and my fortress!
This is pretty cool. Seeing pictures like this (and of the Grand Canyon) give a perfect visual on the strength of rocks.
