May the God of Peace be with All of You
Romans 15:33 and Sandhill Cranes in the Platte River, Central Nebraska.
“Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.” Romans 15:33
The Peace of the God of Peace
With these words the Apostle Paul ended his letter to the Romans. What a perfect way to end a letter. We all could use more of “the God of peace “in our lives.
When Paul sent this letter, the church in Rome lived in a stressful time where they were about to undergo much persecution. They needed peace and there is no peace like God’s peace.
Today we live in stressful times that seem to lack peace. So many are at odds with one another. In much of our world, healthy disagreement has seem to vanished. What were once good relationships have now turned sour.
As believers, God wants to use us as vehicles of change. May we find ways to represent the God of peace in our relationships we those around us.
