King David Declared, “God My Rock”

In the Bible’s Book of Psalm’s King David called God a rock 12 times. A study of the life of David shows that the fact he called God his rock is very significant. David conquered many foes and was a victorious warrior and king, yet this victorious warrior and conquering king called God his rock.

David lived a life filled with courage, strength and fortitude that most man would admire, yet he held to God as his ultimate source. King David knew that to rely on God is not a weakness, but our greatest source of strength.
