Be Exalted, O God!
Psalm 57:5 and Sprague Lake at Sunrise, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
“Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.” Psalm 57:5
God shines His glory in the skies and all of creation is filled with His glory. That’s why creation can sometimes overwhelm us with its beauty.
I often feel the presence of God when I see the glory of creation. The glory of creation speaks to me about God. But just as this landscape photo only gives you a glimpse of the glory of what I saw there, creation only gives us a tiny, tiny glimpse of God’s glory. His glory is far greater than any glory we see in creation.
In Psalm 57, the Psalmist David recognized the greatness of God during a personal time of suffering and hardship.

Beautiful
Thank you!
I was fascinated by the beauty of the mountains in springtime. I drove truck for a lot of years, and the last 2 years I drove all over the U.S., and spring was my favorite time to be in them. I caught the sunrise and with my back to the rising sun, watching the sunlight slowly slide the mountains across the valley from me I got to see the different shades of purple of the budding trees, making it look like a patchwork quilt.Only prettier.
Thanks Gerry! How beautiful. What a site to see! Every occupation has its blessing and seeing God’s creation around the country was one of your blessings as a truck drive.
Jesus said that if we don’t praise God, the rocks and stones will do it. He is worthy.
Yes, He alone is worthy!
I’m recovering from 15 radiation treatments for my skin cancer. Consiquencies include weakness and tiredness. Your devotionals are a daily encouragement. I have been sharing it with my country Church on our FB site daily for several years now. Thank you and God bless.
Hi Rev. Richard. Thanks for letting me know how God touches you through these daily devotions. I am encouraged by your words. And thanks for sharing the devotions with your church. This morning I will pray that God would give you strength through the treatment process and may He heal you quickly.
