Our God of Great Power

Wow! God reigns with exceedingly great power or omnipotence (He is all powerful). Through that power He created everything and He possesses all authority. All things belong to God, including governmental authority.

Though many leaders in government fail to acknowledge God, not one of them possesses any authority that God did not allow him or her to have. If they do not honor God, He will bring judgment upon them. No one rivals God nor can challenge Him. God alone rules. 

By contrast, the devoted Christ follower calls on our powerful and holy Lord in prayer. The true follow of God desires to bow before Him with complete submission and humility. The Bible teaches that there is no greater honor than to serve God.
