Every Sunrise Points to God
Psalm 19:4b-6a and a Sunrise Over a Missouri River Oxbow, Fontenelle Forest, Bellevue, Nebraska.
“In them He has placed a tent for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber; it rejoices as a strong man to run his course. Its rising is from one end of the heavens, and its circuit to the other end of them.” Psalm 19:4b-6a
Every Wind that Blows and Every Sunrise
The beauty of nature proclaims God to us and is one of His many, many gifts to us. In the words of Oswald Chambers, “If we are children of God, we have a tremendous treasure in nature and will realize that it is holy and sacred. We will see God reaching out to us in every wind that blows, every sunrise and sunset, every cloud in the sky, every flower that blooms, and every leaf that fades, if we will only begin to use our blinded thinking to visualize.”
Read all of Psalm 19.

I know that many of my followers are over the age of 50. I’m connected with the owner of this company through an entrepreneur network. I let him know that I would share the below on retirement with all of you. Blessings.
Beautiful reminder.
Thanks Shelia. And sunrises also remind us of his faithfulness.
I love sunsets, I had to share this on facebook. I think of God everytime I see a sunrise or sunset. Thank you.
Hi Joyce. Thanks for sharing this! Every sunrise and set points to God
the psalm says
They who dwell at the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs; You make the sunrise and the sunset shout for joy.
Psalm 65:8
Thanks Nancy. Amen
Yes, the first act of God’s divine revelation is creation itself. And the first book of the Bible is a record of that creation! Like the Bible, we can learn a lot about God from Creation.
“Like the Bible, we can learn a lot about God from Creation.” I very much agree. Theologians call creation “general revelation”or another revelation of God because it tells us so much about Him.
God is constantly calling to us through the beauty of His creation. He beckons us to come to Him, and sunrises and sunsets are daily reminders of that.
I sense is calling in every sunrise And in so much of His creation. When I am drawn to it, God is also drawing me to Himself. It’s peace, beauty, glory and so much more are a reflection of God’s peace, beauty and glory.
