The True Meaning of Christmas
Hebrews 1:3 and a Silhouetted Cross, Papillion, Nebraska
“And He {Jesus} is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.” Hebrews 1:3
Pondering the True Meaning of Christmas
Questions we hear this time of year, “Did you buy all your gifts yet?” “Are you ready for the holidays?” “What are you doing for Christmas?” “Do you have any travel plans?”
Then there are all the other things we try to do and see this time of year. All the rush often makes me stressed!
The rush of Christmas can hide the meaning of Christmas and make it easy to forget that Christmas is about Christ. I know I need to take time and pause throughout the season to think of Jesus. And not just think about His birth, but His work on the Cross.
