When we look upon mountains we see qualities like power, majesty and stability. These regal qualities point us to the transcendent. God posses everlasting power, majesty and stability. He alone stands as an everlasting rock—our everlasting rock.

Even though so much in our culture appears to be on shaky ground, we can always stand firm in and on God.
