“And that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” Ephesians 4:23-24

Renewal in Jesus

Spring brings renewal to the world around us. The Bible tells us God renews our lives. He does so through His son Jesus. When we repent (turn from our ways) and follow His ways, God renews us.

To be renewed means to be granted a new beginning. That’s why Ephesians tells us to “put on the new self.”  Our new self lives different then the old self. The old self put self first. The new self puts God and His ways first. The new self “has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” And the Bible calls us to live in that righteousness and holiness. So let’s do it!
