There Remains a Sabbath Rest

“So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His” Hebrews 4:9-10
God’s Eternal Sabbath Rest
I love the autumn woods. I think it’s sad to see the fall give way to winter. But before I say, “Good bye fall,” I had to post one more fall photo.
I find rest in the fall woods. So much goes on in the summer months, but in fall things slow down. Even nature slows down. On autumn hikes I sense this slow down and find rest. It feels good in my soul.
God placed in us the desire to find a perfect rest. But in this world that desire cannot be met. Only through Jesus will we enter God’s eternal sabbath rest. In heaven our souls will find rest in God’s perfection.
Read all of Hebrews 4 about God’s rest.
I enjoy Autumn as well. Thank you for a lovely teaching.
