Find the Peace of Christ

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” John 14:27
Nature Points to the Peace of Christ
The peace and stillness of nature draws us. We find a rest there that we cannot find in the busyness of modern culture. Many of us eagerly seek out this peace, but sadly the tranquility of nature can never completely satisfy us. It only points to something greater.
Nature’s peace can be disrupted by a bug or a bear, the rain, the frigid cold of winter or in so many other ways. What we ultimately desire is the eternal and unbroken peace of Christ. We will find that peace in eternity with Him. Until then we can experience some of that peace through a relationship with Him and get a glimpse of it by spending time in His creation.

That’s a good word, Pat!
Thanks John!
You have chosen one of my favorite Scriptures today, John 14:27. True peace is found only in Him. He has given us a glimpose of that peace in the beauty of creation. I appreciate your phootograhy and your messages.
That’s awesome Edwin! Amen. True peace is found only in Jesus!
