Jesus Went to the Mountain to Pray
Mark 6:46 and Low Clouds Hang Over Mountains, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
“After bidding them farewell, He left for the mountain to pray.” Mark 6:46
Head to the Mountain to Pray
Jesus left the busyness of life to spend time alone in nature with His Father. He set the example for us. We need to get away to where it is quiet and meet with God.
Maybe we can’t go to the mountains, but we can go to a local park or nature area. For me, sometimes I simply enjoy a Saturday morning on our back deck in the shade of our oak tree. Even there God speaks and my soul finds rest.
Read all of Mark 6 and see why Jesus needed rest.
Fun question. Do you see the elk in this photo?

Good morning Bro.,
Just a quick note on the typographical error: Mark 6:46 (vs. Mark 6:10).
Thank you and Stay Blessed!
Thanks. Changed it.
