God’s Great Wonders
Psalm 136:1, 4 and Fall Trees and Fallen Leaves, Wisconsin
“Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good… Give thanks to Him who alone does great wonders, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.” Psalm 136:1, 4
Autumn and God’s Great Wonders
The season of fall is a wonder of God. My wife and I treasure the season’s colors and cool autumn days. But sometimes in Nebraska, where we live, fall takes a while to arrive. The first two days in October the temperatures were in the 90s!
Fortunately, autumn weather arrived last week and it looks like it’s going to stay awhile. We can’t wait to go out and hike in the wonders of fall.
Psalm 136 declares God is the Creator of “great wonders”. Not only does He create the wonders of nature, but He creates wondrous works in our lives. He does so with His everlasting lovingkindness.
His lovingkindness shines brighter than the colors of fall and it is always there for us. His love never fails or fades away.
Wow! The color on the ground is as lovely as the trees. Beautiful picture. He really thinks of everything, doesn’t He? Thank you, Pat, it is breathtaking.
