The Feelings of a Very Good Creation

The Peace of a Very Good Creation
My family and I like to camp and visit outdoor places. One summer we camped in the Black Hills of South Dakota. During our stay we took an evening drive to view the bison herds in Custer State Park. We saw plenty of them (see the below photos)!
What caught my attention more than the bison was the beauty of the rolling hills in the evening light. Their subtle beauty reminded me of God calling His creation “very good” in Genesis 1:31. In the original Hebrew a very good creation meant that the appearance of God’s creation was very aesthetically pleasing and brought deep feelings of pleasure and satisfaction.
On that summer evening we found creation to be very pleasing and satisfying. It brought delight to our souls.
A few of the bison photos I shot that evening.
