God Perfectly Provides

“He gives food to every creature. His love endures forever.” Psalm 136:25 (NIV)
God Perfectly Provides… And Sometimes by Our Hands
In our family, we are avid bird feeders. We always like to have the suet feeders filled and a stock of sunflower seeds close at hand. It turns out, the squirrel doesn’t realize that these are bird feeders, but that’s okay with us.
We often joke about how these poor little animals are so hungry, and we simply must feed them, or they wouldn’t know what to do without us! Actually, we know perfectly well that we feed them simply for the pleasure of getting to see them up-close. We know that God Himself perfectly provides their food! He provides it in the forest all the time, and they always just know where to find it.
When we are available, God also provides it by our hands. He allows us the joyful privilege of participating in His wonderful work of feeding all His creatures.
Read all of Psalm 136.
