Glorious
Surprise Lilies, Sarpy County, Nebraska and Psalm 66:1-2.
“Shout joyfully to God, all the earth; sing the glory of His name; Make His praise glorious” Psalm 66:1-2
God’s Glorious Work
My wife loves these pink lilies called surprise lilies. Each March, when the ground begins to thaw the long, wide and flat leaves of this plant appear. The mass of leaves together look like small bushes and rise about a foot or two high covering the ground. But by mid-May, they all dry up. Two to three months later long bare stems come up from ground. When they reach about two feet high the stems reveal the gorgeous blooms. Out of the seeming dead ground comes these glorious flowers. A bit of God’s glory seen in His creation.
Even when our lives seem barren and fruitless God can do something amazing in us. Praise Him for His glory revealed in creation and praise Him for His glorious work in us.
Read all of Psalm 66 and be encouraged by God’s Word.
Thank you for the visual impact accompanied by the Biblical verse. God Bless you all. Amen.
You’re welcome, Sipra! God bless you too.
