Dwelling Places in God’s Presence

What a place to live! A mountain home! I’d love to live there, but I realize that it may never happen. Life and work and lack of funds keep my family and I in our humble home in a humble neighborhood. And we are very blessed to live where we live.

Someday those of us Christians who follow Christ will receive a new home. He promised that in His “Father’s house there are many dwelling places.” And that He is preparing one for you and me.

When I look at this photo I think of those “dwelling places”, our heavenly homes. Just like these homes dwell under the power and presence of a mountain, in Heaven we will live under the of power and presence of our Heavenly Father. In Him we will find peace and security forever.
