Crucified with Christ
Romans 6:6-7 and a Cross with Chains, Colfax County, Nebraska.
“Knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin.” Romans 6:6-7
Crucified with Christ and Freed from Sin
Do you struggle with sin? Often we find it hard to resist many of the temptations we face. But take heart, for we who believe have been crucified with Christ “in order that our body of sin might be done away with”. Christ broke our chains freeing us from our bondage to sin. And although we struggle with sin for now, we can take comfort in knowing that some day our desire for sin and our body of sin will be gone. In eternity we will be completely free from sin with a new, resurrected body.
