Psalm 104:21-23 and a Sleeping Lioness.
“The young lions roar after their prey and seek their food from God. When the sun rises they withdraw and lie down in their dens. Man goes forth to his work and to his labor until evening.” Psalm 104: 21-23
God’s Hand of Protection
This simply verse about God’s provision for lions shows His hand of protection for people.
Most predatory animals hunt at night and sleep during the day. In our modern culture we might not appreciate this, but for ancient men and traditional cultures this was and is God’s hand of protection. Sleeping predators allowed them to work with relative safety during the day. In the evening people returned home and predators went back on the hunt.
Even in the unnoticed things of life, God shows His grace to us.
