Find life in Jesus
Just as the flower offers a promise to the hover fly, Christ offers the promise of a new life to us. Life in Him is sweeter than the nectar from any flower.
We find eternal life in Jesus alone. We follow after Him to find truth and salvation. Click here to learn more about Jesus.

Jeremiah 32:38-39 and a Trail in Jay Cooke State Park, Minnesota.
“They shall be My people, and I will be their God; and I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me always, for their own good and for the good of their children after them.” Jeremiah 32:38-39
Follow the Path to God
Beautiful things happen when we follow after God. When we walk with The Lord He call us His People and guides us as our God. He gives us a new heart and a new path to follow. His path leads to beauty and peace.
Joy and hope reside on the path to God.

1 Corinthians 16:13-14 and Trees Before Sunrise, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
“Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
Stand Strong in Love
Many things in life cause Christ Followers to stay on alert. Satan attacks our faith in a multitude of ways. The Bible says in all things of we must act with strength and firmness.
So stand strong like deep rooted trees, but as with Christ our strength should always go hand in hand with love. “Dear Lord, may our love for You and for others always show. Amen.”
The Apostle Paul wrote some encouraging words to the early church in the rest of 1 Corinthians 16.
Guest Post by Sydney Michalski: 2 Corinthians 4:6 and Common Tansy overlooking Tibbet Island, Maine.
“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (NKJV).” Corinthians 4:6
Our Hope is in God’s Glory and Light
One of my favorite things about a gray day is the way some colors in the landscape seem to glow with a light of their own!
On a sunny day, everything is bright and cheerful and vibrant. But when the fog settles in or the light dims, certain colors seem to blaze forth even more brilliantly by contrast.
In this world, dark times may sometimes swirl in…And in these times, our hope in God’s glory and our certainty in His victory shine even more brightly.
Whether in the wide landscape of God’s creation or the inner landscape of our own hearts, ours is the God who commands light out of darkness!

Psalm 97:1-2 and Granite Top Coastline Acadia National Park, Maine.
“The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice. Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.” Psalm 97:1-2
Join the Distant Shores Rejoice
I confess. Too often I find myself to be a grumbler and complainer. I let little things put me in a bad mood. But the Bible calls all to rejoice. Even the “distant shores” are called to rejoice and celebrate our God.
Rejoicing like the distance shores is the way to go. Happiness doesn’t bring joy. Happiness is an emotion. Joy is a mindset. A mindset of joy brings happiness.
Let’s all join the distance shores and rejoice!
Read all of Psalm 97 and rejoice!
