Jeremiah 33:2-3 and a Mountain Valley, San Isabel National Forest, Colorado.
“Thus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it to establish it, the LORD is His name, ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’” Jeremiah 33:2-3
God says, “Call to Me.”
In Jeremiah 33 God told the Jewish people they could still call to Him even though King Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon were bringing destruction upon Jerusalem. He promised them that someday He would restore their nation. He let them know in their deepest and darkest hour that He did not leave them.
God still says to us today, “Call to Me and I will answer you.” When we despair we can call to God. He wants us to.
Wow! Think of that. The One who made the mountains, the valleys and all of creation wants us to call Him in our time of need. That’s awesome!
When we find ourselves in need we can take comfort in knowing God cares and is there. Pray to Him.
