The Messiah’s Peace
Psalm 72:3-4 and Peaceful Rolling Hills, Custer State Park, South Dakota.
“Let the mountains bring peace to the people, and the hills, in righteousness. May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, save the children of the needy and crush the oppressor.” Psalm 72:3-4
Nature and a Touch of the Messiah’s Peace
King Solomon wrote two psalms. Psalm 72 is one of them and it depicts the coming of the Messiah or as it says in verse 1 “the King’s Son”.
The King’s Son, Jesus the Messiah, brings peace, righteousness, relief for the afflicted and so much more. In Him we find a gentle, perfect peace.
In the rolling hills of nature I feel a touch of the Messiah’s peace. As a getaway from this world, nature provides peace and rest, but it doesn’t not compare to Christ’s eternal peace in heaven.
Find some peace in a quiet place with my new creation/outdoor devotional.
What a GORGEOUS shot! And a perfect reminder that we have the peace that passes understanding even during these stressful times.
Amen! We sure do have that peace. Praise God!
