God in Our Midst Forever and Always

Psalm 46 speaks of Our Lord as a refuge and is a psalm of trust. Martin Luther used psalm 46 as the basis for His hymn, “A Mighty Fortress is Our God”.

God lives in the midst of His people. Verse 1 affirms His close and permanent presence with His people saying God is “A very present help in trouble.” 

No matter what direction life flows for you, God will be there. He is not a stranger. The Lord lives with His people.
