The Self Existing Alpha and Omega

Jesus makes some remarkable claims in this verse. He claims to be God and as God He lived before and will live after all things. Jesus says He existed as God even when nothing else existed.

As the Alpha (the first letter of Greek alphabet) and Omega (the last letter) God exists because He exists. He always has existed. It is why He told Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” He relies on no one, needs no one and fears no one.

God alone is self-existent and that is one of His many incommunicable attributes. God needs nothing else to exist and everything else needs God to exist.
