The Wind and Waves of God

The Bible likes to use imagery from creation to reveal things to us about God. Psalm 107:23-29 uses the sea, its storms, the wind and the waves to show us that God is powerful and a God of action. He does not play games with sin.

Psalm 107 also shows us that God does not play games with grace. He freely gives it to those who repent. God is a God of wrath and grace. He uses His power to judge those who rebel and to save those who seek His grace.

God rescues those who call to Him. He has the power to do it!
