With God We are Never Alone

Jesus quoted Deuteronomy more than any other book. The three times He rebuked Satan when tempted by him in the desert, Jesus quoted from Deuteronomy. The Apostle Paul and other New Testament writers also quoted from this important book. 

Deuteronomy 31 records some of Moses’s last words to the Hebrew people. Verse 8 contains some words of encouragement that Moses gave to Joshua before Joshua led the Hebrews into the Promise Land. Like him, we too can be confident that God never abandons us. We are never alone. The Lord always remains with us. Like this lone tree, we can stand strong knowing The Lord is near.
