Everlasting Way of the Lord
Psalm 139:23-24 and a Foot Bridge, Forestville Mystery Cave State Park, Minnesota.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; and see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.” Psalm 139:23-24
God Knows us and Leads us to the Everlasting Way
If I wrote up a list of my favorite psalms, surely Psalm 139 would be on the list. I may even place it at the top of the list. The psalm speaks of how well God knows everything about us.
God knows every thought we think and every step we take. He walks right with us. He even knows what lies ahead. One year, I taught my kids part Psalm 139 as we drove to school. Hopefully someday it will be a favorite of theirs as they follow God to “the everlasting way.”
This psalm focuses on two of God’s attributes, His omnipresence and His omniscience.
Be encouraged by reading all of Psalm 139. God knows you and is with you!
I have this Scripture verse written out and taped in front of me on the wall at the kitchen sink. I see it and say it a dozen times a day … definitely in my top five favorites!
That’s awesome, Bebe! Thanks for letting me know.
That is a great verse. I want to tell it to my 13 yr old granddaughter this verse. Thank you.
