“So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:17-20

Know Believers By Their Fruit

When we follow Christ we produce good fruit or the fruit of the spirit. If someone claims to follow Christ the Bible tell us that person will produce good fruit. In other words, we know fellow believers by their fruits or good works.

If one does not produce good fruit or lacks a desire to change, then according to these Scripture verses, that person does not know God or follow after Him.
