Fixing Our Eyes on Christ
Hebrews 12:2 and Three Crosses, Camp Luther, Colfax County, Nebraska.
“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2
Fixing our Eyes
What a wonderful act Jesus performed by dying on the cross. The Bible says He went through that trial “for the joy set before Him”—Our salvation and the glory of sitting “down at the right hand of the throne of God” as the Redeemer of the world.
When life brings trials, the Bible calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus. Fixing our eyes on Him gives us strength and helps us remember that because He died we will live in eternal peace and paradise with Him. Praise God and amen!
Be encouraged by all of Hebrews 12.

What a lovely setting for this reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made for me!
