Ecclesiastes 4:12 and Three Watchful Deer, Lake Manawa State Park, Iowa.Three watchful brown deer blend in with the dead vegetation, Lake Manawa State Park, Iowa. Ecclesiastes 4:12 bible verse. A cord of three strands

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NIV)

A Cord of Three Strands Stands Strong

While I photographed these three deer a forth deer stood about 20 feet behind me. She nervously looked for an opportunity to join the other deer and eventually did. Deer are herd animals and find greater safety and security in numbers. The Bible encourages Christian believers to stick together. When we stand by one another we can provide help to each other in countless ways. Together we can find community, friendship, emotional, physical and spiritual support, accountability and so much more.

Ecclesiastes 4:8-12. It talks about the importance of standing together.

Psalm 50:10 and a Bison Herd, Custer State Park, South Dakota.Bison Herd, Custer State Park, South Dakota. Psalm 50:10. Bible verse, the cattle upon a thousand hills

“For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.” Psalm 50:10

All the animals on a Thousand Hills

When we explore the outdoors we can see many of the wonderful animals God has created. They belong to Him and He has entrusted their care to us.

In Psalm 50 verse 10 the Bible tells us God owns the cattle on a thousand hills to explain that God owns everything. He has the resources to meet each one of our needs. Be encouraged to continue to bring your needs before Him.
