Our God of Great Power
God reigns with exceedingly great power. Through that power He created everything and He poses all authority. The contents of this verse reveals that all things belong to Him, including leadership authority. No one poses any authority that God did not give to them. No one rivals Him nor can challenge Him. God alone rules. The devoted Christ follower desires to bow before our powerful, holy Lord with complete submission and humility. The Bible teaches there exists no greater honor than to serve Him.
