Isaiah 12:3-4 and Redrock Falls, Glacier National Park, Montana.
“Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation. And in that day you will say, “Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; Make them remember that His name is exalted.” Isaiah 12:3-4
God’s Springs of Salvation
Many times the Bible use the imagery of water as a metaphor for God’s salvation. Water cleans and refreshes us, as well as gives us life. When we look at creation the way God intends us to look at it (with Psalm 104 Eyes), we see how it points us to His goodness. As Pastor Steven L. Diehl says in his book Beyond Green, “The created world around us is a front-seat window exhibit of the amazing creativity of the God of the universe. Creation is to be enjoyed and appreciated in a contagious way.”
