Isaiah 59:1-2 and the South Rim View, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona.
“Behold, the LORD’S hand is not so short That it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.” Isaiah 59:1-2
A Separation too Great?
The Grand Canyon is deep, wide and hard to cross, but the void people put between them and God is greater. Human sin separates people from God. We cannot undo that separation, nor can we cross it. Fortunately, no gap, canyon or rift can stop God.
God alone can cross the great gap that separates a human heart from Him. He moves in a heart and then saves someone when they by faith, believe, repent and follow Him.
Praise God! He is good! How wonderful it is to know that God crosses an immense canyon we cannot cross. He does this out of His love. And because He does it, we can enjoy knowing Him in this life and then spend eternity with Him in the next.
