Grace Alone

Ephesians 2:8-10 and a Great Egret in a Foggy Flight, Central Florida. A white great egret in flight over wetlands through fog at Gatorland in Central Florida, and Ephesians 2:8-10 by grace alone

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

God’s Grace Alone

Merriam Webster’s Dictionary defines grace as “unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification”. Simply put, God gives us His love and salvation without us doing a single work to earn it.

Webster’s also defines grace as “charming or attractive” as well as “to confer dignity or honor”.

These other definitions create even a greater picture of grace. They help us see that God erases our ugliness and makes us beautiful and whole. He gives us a dignity and honor we do not deserve and could not earn. By God’s grace alone we receive eternal life. Praise God and amen!
