“Listen to this, O Job, Stand and consider the wonders of God. Do you know how God establishes them…” Job 37:14-15a
The Wonders of God
I enjoy the wonders of nature. The Bible uses the word “wonder” or some other form of it, such as wondrous or wonderful, over 100 times. Why do you thing that is? Do you suppose we should wonder about God and the things of God?
Most of those times the Bible uses some form of the word “wonder,” it is speaking of the miracles God did or how great He is. But sometimes, as with this passage in the book of Job chapter 37, it’s talking about His creation.
To look at the things of creation and think about God, is a great way to experience our Lord and appreciate Who He is. By seeking God in the wonders of His creation, we can draw near to Him and know Him in deeper ways.
