God Touches the Mountains

Psalm 104:32-33 and Longs Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.A stream of clouds passes over the rugged looking Longs Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado and Psalm 104:32-33. God touches the Mountains

“He looks at the earth, and it trembles; He touches the mountains, and they smoke. I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.”  Psalm 104:32-33.

Touches the Mountains

I love the poetry in the Bible and the picture it paints of God. The Bible often uses mountains as a powerful metaphor to tell us something about God.

To mortal man mountains appear high and mighty possessing great strength and unmatched majesty. The majesty and strength of God surpasses that of any mountain. The mountains, like all things, remain under His control. All power belongs to God.

Read about the majesty of God in His Creation in Psalm 104.
