God and Hidden Things

Only God knows what God knows. Just like these aspens trees hide what is in them and what is behind them, God hides many things from us. He has His reasons for doing so, and He calls us to trust in Him and His goodness.

Within a week after I took this photo, the aspen trees dropped their leaves and no longer hid what was in them nor what was behind them. And with God, He reveals to us the things He chooses to reveal to us. He does this primarily through His word and His Spirit. And what He chooses to reveal to us lets us know who He is, how we should live, how we should serve Him and what His Kingdom is like.

When you feel things are hidden from you, trust in God and His Word. Also, guard your heart so that you will hear what the Holy Spirit speaks to you.
