“Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go.” Joshua 1:7

Strong and Very Courageous with God

God calls us to be “strong and VERY courageous (emphasis mine)”. If we follow His commands He promises to be with us. Our task may not be nearly as great as the task God gave His servant Joshua, but He calls us to serve Him with great courage too. 

Just as the Lord warned Joshua, He warns us also not to turn from His ways. We are called to be courageous. When follow the Lord, He equips us and strengthens us, but without Him we are lost.

So stand strong and be brave like a bull elk, but more importantly keep true to God.
