Refreshes and Restores

Is there anything more refreshing than a freshwater spring or a mountain stream? So often the Scripture uses such imagery as metaphor for what God gives to us. He makes us clean and refreshes our souls. There is nothing more pure than our God and the sanctification He gives to us. In His sanctification and refreshment we find salvation through Christ alone.

Oh Lord, cleanse, refresh and restore us. Amen
