Psalm 136:4a and 9: The Rising Moon

Our Moon Shows Us God’s Love and Greatness

I love the Moon. Well, not really, but I love what the Moon tells me about God. Psalm 136 says the Moon tells us that God is loving. He loving gave us a great light to guide us in the night. Not only does the moon provide light by reflecting the Sun’s light, but it gives our planet stability and drives Earth’s tides.

The Moon also tells us that God is great. Think how big it is and why it was created. Then think about how big is our God to create such a thing as big as our Moon, our Sun, our galaxy and our whole universe?

If the greatness of God surpasses all these things, then how great does He love both you and me!
