“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

Letting Your Light Shine

The words of Jesus always speak truth. Our lives have a great story to tell the world. If Christians live out godly lives of love and truth people will be drawn to God. Just as the brilliant birds of creation draw our eyes to them, the people of God will draw the eyes of others to God when we shine our light for the Lord. 

Don’t hide your lamp. Let your light shine!
