Head to the House of Mourning

Ecclesiastes 7:1-3 a Ragged Fall Leaf at the End of It’s Days, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee.A faded fall with several holes in it clings to a branch. Bible verse Ecclesiastes 7:1-3 a house of mourning Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee.

“A good name is better than a good ointment, and the day of one’s death is better than the day of one’s birth. It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, because that is the end of every man, And the living takes it to heart. Sorrow is better than laughter, for when a face is sad a heart may be happy.” Ecclesiastes 7:1-3

My House of Mourning

Five years ago today my dad passed away and step into eternity to be with Jesus. He died just two days after His 80th birthday. He was a man with a good name and when he died my family went into the house of mourning.

Time goes by, but we still mourn and miss my dad. Praise God. For He is good and promises eternal life for those who call on Him!

Our Days are short. Follow Jesus. Eternity is forever.
