Exodus 33:21-22 and the Sunset from the Island in the Sky, Canyonlands National Park, Utah.
“Then the Lord said, ‘There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.’” Exodus 33:21-22
We Will See His Glory
The glory of God is so much greater than the glory of a sunset, yet a sunset gives us a glimpse of God’s glory.
In Exodus 33 Moses caught a glimpse of God’s actual glory while on Mount Sinai. But God could not show Moses His face and His full glory because Moses would die due to his human sin. But because of Jesus and His death and resurrection Christian believers will someday see God’s unveiled face and His full glory in Heaven. Praise Him!
