Although it looks like a very precarious climb, it appeared almost effortlessly for the bear. But why did he go up there? When he got near the top, the bear started to rock back and forth shaking the tree. It almost looked as if it might fall out of the tree. But there was a method to its madness.
As he rocked walnuts in the tree came crashing to the ground. The bear then stopped, climbed down, ate most of the fallen walnuts, and then climbed back up the tree to do it all over again.
The entire time I watched the bear, he appeared to climb up and down without fear. Why? You might ask. The simply answer to the question is because that is just what bears do. This bear was just being a bear. He was living life as God intended it to live. So why should it fear? A bear just being the bear God intended it to be has no reason to fear. The same should be true for us.
God’s Call
When we live the life God calls us to, we should do so without fear. God calls us to many things. Some he calls to be evangelist, ministers or missionaries. Others He calls to be schoolteachers, fire fighters, accounts, administrators, medical professional, managers, entrepreneurs, writers and so on. But whatever He calls us to do, we ought to do it without fear. It is His plan.
Why fear God’s call on your life? There is nothing better then doing what God has called you to. Our lives are in his hands. He has a plan for us.
